The Mini Bosses mod adds new bosses and mobs into Minecraft. The bosses themselves are extremely powerful and drop very useful items. Another feature of this mod is the rare versions of normal zombies, skeletons, and creepers. These mobs are much more powerful and have potion effects on them. However, if you kill them they may drop useful gear!
At the moment, any mod that registers their mod’s biomes with the Forge Biome Dictionary can have mobs from this mod spawn in their biomes. This mod also supports the Forge Ore Dictionary, meaning that you can use dark iron ingots from other mods like Factorization(If they have registered their mod’s ingots) in recipes from this mod and vice-versa. Also, a sort of API is in the works, however I wouldn’t expect it until at least 1.8. At the moment, you can implement IMiniBoss on your entities if you would like them to be included in the entity ban system and have them included for future API updates. At the moment, modders can disable my mobs from spawning in their dimensions by sending an IMC to “MiniBosses” formatted “EntityName:DimensionID”.

These mobs are inspired by rouge-like games in the sense that they have completely random properties assigned to them (Along with custom names). Right now only Zombies and Skeletons have a chance of spawning as Micro-Bosses.
The Super Slime is pretty much just a really big slime that on occasion will throw you around. Drops a large amount of slime balls on death (Note: You should enable slime block crafting in the config if you want to make use out of these)
The Iron Zombie is a rather tough, agile mob that can disarm players that attack it. Be careful though, it doesn’t burn in sunlight and has a dark side to it.
The Forest Guard does not appreciate Steve’s teardown of the local forest, so he decided that a suitable solution would be to hunt him down while carrying the head of one of his fallen trees.
The Crawler is a half-human half-spider hybrid that has lost it’s ability to climb. This foe should be avoided unless very powerfully geared.
Please note that all of these descriptions are intentionally vague. You should learn more about these mobs by fighting them yourself. If you want more or less of them, their spawn rates can be configured in the configuration file.
Blocks and Items:
This mod adds a small amount of blocks and items. First we have the slime block, which is great for growing crops and can be crafted in the traditional storage block shape. We also have Dark Iron Ingots, which can be obtained from killing Iron and Dark Iron zombies. Those ingots can be used to create Dark Iron Armor, which provides various buffs and debuffs. At night, the armor gives you a variety of positive potion effects, and also protects you extra from undead enemies. However during the day, the armor takes damage much more easily, so you may want to take it off.
